Our goal is to design and install a system that will meet your unique needs.  Whether it is a system in the 150 MHz range, like our TR-155, or in the 500 MHz range, like the TR-500, we have the answer for you.  Our UltraComm TR-155 Leaky Feeder and our new TR-500 MHz (UHF) technologies provide outstanding coverage for mining environments. Our UltraComm technology combines simultaneous voice, video, and data transmission into a single cable communication solution.

Rather than overload a cascaded amplifier network with many unneeded options, Tunnel Radio systems focus on the number one reason a mine user installs radio: - excellent range and coverage.  The overwhelming feedback from our customers is that ours is the 'clearest system on the market,' that 'our system talks further than any other network,' and that they will 'never go back to other systems.'

One of Tunnel Radio’s newest additions is the Tunnel Monitoring System (TMS) technology.  Rather than taking an 'off-the-shelf' part and adapt it to fit a mining need, we designed our systems with one thing in mind: underground use!  When installed alongside one of our UltraComm systems, TMS enables control and supervision of any mine utility wirelessly-- including personnel tracking..

If you desire a purely digital system, Tunnel Radio can integrate an IP-based network using your existing data highway.  The NetComm system using the TR-Radio Over Intranet Protocol is becoming popular in mines driving toward a broadband concept.  Intregration experts at Tunnel Radio have combined network routers switches and radio elements with tracking and WiFi to meet the needs in the mine of the future.
